Living an eco-glam lifestyle means, essentially, living beautifully in an eco-sensitive and serene place.
With demand for oceanfront properties that are eco-sensitive, beautiful, and becoming rarer and rarer, 1 Hotel & Homes recently announced the release of one of its signature penthouses for sale, #1610, a $20 million duplex.
With exceptional views of the Atlantic Ocean, the unit is a 3,955-square-foot home, with 730 feet of outdoor space, and 12.5-foot ceilings. It has four bedrooms, five-and-a-half bathrooms, complemented by balconies on both floors. It is also the most expensive apartment in the building.
Furnished by Rose Ink Workshop in collaboration with the 1 Hotels design team, Penthouse 1610 highlights ocean views from the floor-to-ceiling glass windows and sliding doors throughout and intelligently placed mirrored walls in the kitchen and dining room.
The interior taps into a mindful connection between nature and culture, through a myriad of unique design details. Among them is a custom lighting installation, made of many ancient, naturally formed quartz crystals, arranged to form the Sagittarius star constellation, representing optimism, discovery, travel, and an exploration into the mysteries of living.
Another unusual feature is an organic root sculpture chandelier, mixed with a vertical garden of Vanda orchids, all of which hang at the stairs, naturally connecting upper and lower levels of the duplex penthouse.
The Penthouse Residence pays an interesting homage to ocean living with unique driftwood furnishings, designed to create an ocean environment, with ocean breezes and sunlight, moving from room to room. The Penthouses range in size, from 1,694 square feet, to 4,207 square feet, and have custom Italkraft kitchens, with imported Italian silver travertine, white quartz countertops, Wolf appliances, and Dornbracht faucets, with trash, composting, and recycling bins.
Each of the 29 penthouses in this collection is unique, with every floor plan varying from the others. There are only 12 penthouses still on the market, and 84 percent of the 1 Hotel & Homes inventory is sold out.
