A front-runner in the French mayoral race just spiced things up a bit with a new design proposal for one of Paris’ priciest areas. The proposal (designed by Marc Rozenblat) would make Avenue Foch into a gorgeous stretch of greenery that stretches from Bois de Boulogne to the capital.
Currently, Avenue Foch is 459 feet wide. If changed, the area would feature a pedestrian mall, shops, offices, council apartments and hotels. Currently, the area features exclusive real estate belonging to wealthy foreigners, and the area’s ‘return to nature’ could shake up housing prices in the area.
