Flavor Paper’s industrial exterior gave some hint as to what can be found inside, but little will prepare you for the vibrant color and unique designs until you see them for yourself.
Really. This is not your grandma’s wallpaper…well, unless your grandma loved toile featuring Biggie’s head and bold banana scratch n’ sniff designs in her sitting room. We’re guessing not so much.
At Flavor Paper’s 10th Anniversary event last week on Pacific Street, the company showcased hand-screened and digitally printed wallpapers much like artwork in massive-scale frames displayed in their workspace gallery. Flavor Paper also recently announced the new Andy Warhol x Flavor Paper Collection in creative partnership and production with The Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts.
Founder and creative director Jon Sherman comments, “We’re thrilled about collaborating with The Andy Warhol Foundation. Reinterpreting Mr. Warhol’s work in Flavor Paper style to create new wallpaper designs is an exceptional way to celebrate our tenth year in the business.”
