For those who adore contemporary design but dislike the staid, sometimes cold feel of this look, we have a small shot of pizzazz. One of iconic contemporary artist Keith Haring's works has been made into a shower curtain which is both timeless and unique. The late artist's design for a shower curtain features his iconic tangle of humanity, where outlined silhouettes collide in beautiful chaos across the 72”x72” space.
Keith Haring learned his basic cartooning skills from his father, and from the popular culture around him including Dr. Seuss and Walt Disney. His work was inspired by Jean Dubuffet, Pierre Alechinsky, William Burroughs, Brion Gysin and Robert Henri’s manifesto The Art Spirit. Haring was diagnosed with AIDS in 1988 and died of AIDS related complications at the age of 31 on February 16, 1990.
