The luxury boutique hotel group Grace Hotels unveils a collection of 17 exclusive apartments serviced by the highly anticipated new Grace St. Moritz hotel, scheduled to open in 2019. Grace Hotels acquired the historic La Margna hotel, which was originally built in 1906, in 2013 with the aim of transforming it into a luxurious hotel and residences, the first of its kind at this location. It is currently undergoing a full-scale restoration and refurbishment, while retaining the period charm of the original building. The restored property will re-open as Grace St. Moritz and include an additional wing providing generous proportions and deep windows that capture the famed Alpine light.

St. Moritz is regarded as the birthplace of winter tourism, becoming an alpine resort in 1864. It is a premier destination, with 217 miles of piste, and it is also one of Switzerland’s highest resorts at over 5,905 feet. In addition to winter sports, St. Moritz offers year-round recreation, including hiking, paragliding, mountain biking, golfing, windsurfing, tennis, and sailing. The town is also known for its world-class boutiques and Michelin-starred restaurants. In February, St. Moritz played host to the Alpine World Championships.
