Furniture designer Kenneth Cobonpue has designed a new furniture series consisting of a chair, an ottoman and a natural accent table. The "La Luna" furniture series consists of woven jute and rattan creating the chair and ottoman. The accent table--which is available in three heights and diameters of 50, 60 and 80 cm--comes in color or brown ash and includes a foot and a rattan tray melamine.
The "La Luna" is appropriately named by Cobonpue, who graduated in Industrial Design from Pratt Institute in New York, as the chair's curvaceous round shape is reminiscent of the moon.
Cobonpue describes this exquisite piece on his website:
La Luna resembles the quiet sophistication of the moon, brought closer to the more tactile senses. The collection is defined by a roundness that typifies its muse and is subtly woven with two woven patterns. A work of precise craftsmanship and design, La Luna can effortlessly float in any space.
