The Stepney Green Design Collection, curated by Dezeen Magazine, has unveiled a unique piece featuring London design brand Hulger's new Baby Plumen light bulbs. Called the Hollywood Chandelier, this new lighting fixture was created in collaboration with the designers at Haptic Thought. The chandelier features 40 Baby Plumen 001 energy saving light bulbs suspended in rows from copper fixings.
The Baby Plumen is a smaller-scale version of the Hulger company's award-winning Plumen 001 fluorescent light bulb. The lightbulb won the Brit Insurance Design of the Year Award in 2011 for its pioneering design.
The Hollywood Chandelier is part of a 30-piece exhibit of art, fashion, furniture and sculpture which sought to celebrate local London design talents.
