Cindy Crawford was deemed one of the most recognized supermodels in the 1980s and 1990s gracing the cover of multiple magazines, walking runway shows, and serving as the face of fashion campaigns. She has since expanded into other ventures and in 1998, married nightlight industry businessman Rande Gerber. Gerber co-founded the tequila brand Casamigos with acclaimed actor George Clooney in 2013. In 2017, Crawford and Gerber purchased a mid-century modern home in Beverly Hills for $11.6 million through a trust. However, the two are now bidding farewell to their humble abode listing it on the market for an initial price $15.995 million last August. Since then, the price has been reduced to $14.75 million in May before recently securing a buyer. While the transaction has yet to appear in public records and the buyer’s identity remains anonymous, the home was last listed at $13.5 million.

Additionally, the celebrity couple have secured several other properties with two homes in Malibu, a vacation home in La Quinta’s Madison Club, and a cottage in Canada. Aside from Crawford and Gerber though, other notable names in the entertainment industry have inhabited their Beverly Hills abode. OneRepublic frontman Ryan Tedder and his wife, Genevieve, purchased the house in 2014 and spent almost two years restoring and expanding the property. Prior to their residence, the space belonged to film producer Gregory Goodman of “Jason Bourne” and “Captain Phillips.”

In 2019, Crawford spoke to Architectural Digest about her Beverly Hills home. “It's midcentury modern, so it's been fun putting it through our own filter. We make a lot of our upholstery,” she explains. “My husband is very, very picky about the cushion density and seat depth because he's taller.” However, Crawford also claims that Gerber “would sacrifice functionality for the look” in certain aspects of their home while her utmost priority lies in comfortability.

Built in 1959, the chic mid-century modern home spans 5,386 square feet and includes five bedrooms and 5.5 baths. The single-story space rests beyond gated walls in the posh Trousdale Estates neighborhood and has been completely renovated and restored during Tedder’s residence. The open floor plan presents four separate lounging areas partially separated by a dividing wall with sleek fireplace and wet bar. The sky-lit kitchen and adjacent dining area offer an atmosphere perfect for entertaining. The separate media room is equipped with sliding doors to provide privacy and distinct from the kitchen area. Stepping outside, the expansive exterior opens to a large swimming pool and spa with adjoining daybeds. The seating area is surrounded by a firepit, fruit trees, and art installations.

Electronic music artist Zedd has been ranked by Forbes as one of the highest paid DJs in the world. He previously has collaborated with famed stars such as Ariana Grande, Katy Perry, and Selena Gomez. The Grammy winner has also reigned victorious on the real estate front as he acquired a $16 million Beverly Hills mansion in 2018. TAriana Grande, Katy Perry, and Selena Gomezhe residence was newly built two years prior and listed on the market for as much as $25 million. After his purchase at a significantly reduced price, the musician invited Architectural Digest into his home to showcase the lavish space. Now, after three years of residence, Zedd is preparing to bid farewell to his luxe mansion as he has recently listed the property for $26.5 million.

Built in 2016, Zedd fondly describes the contemporary Beverly Hills home as “modern and slick, but really warm.” The extravagant space spans 11,043 square feet and includes five bedrooms, six full bathrooms, and three half-bathrooms. The interior layout opens to a great room with double-height ceilings, an atrium with fountain, and lush greenery. Further into the home, the open kitchen is equipped with a preparation area, pantry, and access to the adjacent dining room. Upstairs, the spacious master suite fills the entire second floor offering a cozy fireplace, two walk-in closets, a bathroom with steam shower, and a private terrace with picturesque views of the cityscape below. Four additional guest suites are featured on the lower level with three of them offering direct access to the swimming pool. The married couple purchased the property in 2009 for a price of $1.6 million. Over the years, they implemented several renovations such as the updating the kitchen, in-ground pool, and adding a third floor and rooftop terrace. In July of 2016, the duo bid farewell to their former home and sold it to “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” star Kendall Jenner for $6.5 million.

In 2017, Jenner sold her LA home after only residing in it for a year due to stalking and burglary, presumably since there was no gate surrounding the property until recently. A 25-year-old man was arrested and accused of following Jenner up her driveway. Jenner also reported that $200,000 worth of jewelry was stolen. Most recently, the space has been home to marketing magnate Bill Guthy and his wife, cosmetics entrepreneur Victoria Jackson. They have recently listed their former residence on the market for a price of 8.5 million.

Built in 1958, the Hollywood home spans 4,800 square feet and includes six bedrooms and five bathrooms. The living room highlights floor-to-ceiling retractable windows and white-brick fireplace. Three steps up presents the dining room with built-in bar and copper countertop. The sleek white kitchen features an eight-burner stove, industrial hood, and large window overlooking the home's exterior grounds. Stepping outside, the space offers a pool, lounge area and outdoor kitchen. Upstairs, the master bedroom suite is equipped with a seating area, walk in closet, floor-to-ceiling windows, outdoor terrace access, and bathroom with a stand-alone tub and two rain showers. The home emulates a rustic feel yet incorporates modern architecture with contrasting light wood floors and white brick. Additional perks of the home include a cinema room, recording studio, gym, and two-car garage.

Ellen DeGeneres and her wife, Portia de Rossi have officially sold their Beverly Hills home for $47 million. The home was put on the market a month ago for an asking price of $53.5 million, yet the couple still managed to make a decent profit.

DeGeneres and de Rossi purchased their Beverly Hills home from Maroon 5’s lead singer Adam Levine back in May 2019 for $42 million. The 10,376-square-foot property has undergone substantial renovations while under the ownership of DeGeneres and De Rossi, on top of $7 million worth of upgrades made by Levine and his wife, Behati Prinsloo. The traditional-ivy covered home features five bedrooms and 12 bathrooms, with plenty of modern touches throughout the residence.

The property has a stainless-steel-covered kitchen, a sunlit two-story front foyer which leads into a 50-foot living room with a stone fireplace and white plaster walls, a family room, and a formal dining room with a bar. The upstairs suite spans 2,000 square feet with a private terrace and en suite bathroom. Other amenities include a resort-like pool with a spa, an outdoor kitchen with a pizza oven, a fire pit, a sunken tennis court, a paneled library, a gym and a screening room. The property also has a guest house.

DeGeneres and de Rossi are notorious for their real estate portfolio. The couple, who has owned over 20 homes throughout the years, are known for flipping their real estate purchases and reselling them shortly after. DeGeneres’ interest in real estate was inspired by her father and her childhood. Growing up, her family often rented properties but never actually owned a home. This inspired DeGeneres to buy her own property when she was finally able to afford it. Together, the couple share a passion for architecture and decorating, opting to try new styles and aesthetics with each property added to their portfolio.

The property was listed by Bateman’s boyhood friend, Richard Ehrlich of Westside Estate Agency. We don’t think Bateman seeks a bigger home to contain his ego because, by all accounts, he’s considered one of Hollywood’s most down-to-earth and nicest celebrities. It’s more likely that recent successes and two growing kids demand more space.

Bateman is the younger (and now more accomplished) brother of actress Justine Bateman who starred in the hit TV series Family Ties. He is known for ascerbic, quick-witted "straight-man" characters (with deadpan glares), especially in ensemble buddy films. His résumé has elevated him to Hollywood’s comedian A-list—an honor that’s made him a go-to humorous sidekick in sleeper film hits such as Juno, Up in the Air, Horrible Bosses and Identity Thief. In 2013, he made his directorial debut for the film Bad Words.
