The USA & Americas Property Awards, now in their 27th year covering over 45 different residential and commercial categories, are decided by an independent panel of 80 industry experts, focusing on design, quality, service, innovation, originality, and commitment to sustainability. The panel is headed by Lord Caithness, Lord Best, and Lord Waverley, members of the House of Lords in the UK Parliament.

The Awards are spread throughout Arabia, Europe, Africa, Canada, Central & South America, the Caribbean, USA, UK and Asia Pacific, with "heats" staged for each region.
