In December of 2020, Emmy winning comedian and television host Trevor Noah purchased an expansive estate in Los Angeles’s Bel Air neighborhood for $27.5 million. The South African entertainer acquired the impressive abode from architect Mark Rios who initially designed the property for himself in 2014. The home had previously been listed on the market in 2018 asking as much as $36 million. In 2020, the asking price was reduced to $32.5 million then lowered once more to $29.5 million.

Now, “The Daily Show” host is bidding farewell to his newly purchased residence for $29.75 million only 10 months after purchased. Although it is currently unknown as to why Noah is so quickly selling the home, he has been linked to several other properties across the country. In 2019, he purchased a nearby mansion at $20.5 million before flipping it for $21.7 million last year. Noah has also owned a $10 million penthouse in Manhattan’s Hell’s Kitchen since 2017 and is currently renting a second residence in Tribeca for a reported $52,000 a month.

Noah’s former Bel Air abode spans a whopping 11,375 square feet with six bedrooms, eight full baths, and three half-baths. The expansive space evokes a Japanese inspired aesthetic and has been described as a “tranquil haven.” The interior floor plan features the living area with floor-to-ceiling glass doors and chef’s kitchen with bar seating, formal dining room, and den. The library, in particular, was fashioned after a room in Kyoto with the addition of heavy and dark timbers. Across the home, primary decorative elements consist of dark wood accents, light-filled spaces, and sweeping city views.

Upstairs, the master suite presents dual baths and spacious walk-in closets. The second floor also offers four additional ensuite bedrooms. Outside, the exterior space features a rooftop terrace, swimming pool, kitchen, and fire pit. Other luxe amenities of the Bel Air mansion include a gym, spa, office, screening room, motor court, and separate guest apartment.

Now another unit, on the fourth floor of 155 Franklin, has sold for $9.99 million. While the space was intended to serve as a rental, the buyer reportedly fell in love with the unit and purchased it on the spot crowning them the title of Taylor’s swift’s new neighbor.

The classic 19th-century building formerly served as the Sugarloaf Warehouse before its conversion into a 6.5 story residential space. Spanning 3,532 square feet, the newly purchased Tribeca unit features four bedrooms and three baths. The marvelous great room highlights corner exposure, a woodburning fireplace, and oversized windows for plentiful natural lighting. The open chef’s kitchen is equipped with a quaint breakfast bar. On Monday, Google announced its plans to invest $1 billion  to open a new campus in the New York City neighborhood known as Hudson Square (at 315 and 345 Hudson, and then also 550 Washington). Hudson Square was once known as the Printing District because of the printing companies attracted to the large concrete and steel factory buildings located close to their Wall Street clients. In the 1970s and ‘80s, technology and design companies replaced the printing industry, attracted by the architecture, location, transportation options, and affordable rents. In recent years, the area has experienced a building boom. Not only is the neighborhood growing in height and number of residences but a large fund has been set aside to increase the neighborhood’s commercial mix, greenery, and traffic flow. Now, with the news of Google’s investment, the neighborhood is set to soar.

For $30 million, Zoran Ladicorbic, the designer whose clothes have been labeled, "Gap for the very rich", is prepared to part with his longtime home and office.

Located at 9 Jay Street in Manhattan, the town house, which was once a stable for horse-drawn ambulances, has served as an office for the fashion designer for 30 years. The 6,300-square-foot, loft-like town house has 50 windows and a large rooftop terrace that offers amazing views of the city that never sleeps. Unlike in the case of most New York City town houses, this one is stationed on a corner and isn't bunched in between other houses or buildings. For those interested in the purchase, it should also be noted that there's an additional 1,800 square feet of space that can be developed.
