Sheikh Hamad bin Jassim bin Jaber Al Thani, the Prime Minister of Qatar, is ready to spend $100 million on New York's most expensive condominium.

The condo is located on two floors atop the new One57 building near Carnegie Hall. One57 is still under construction.

At nearly 11,000 square feet, the condo features five bedrooms, four fireplaces, a mezzanine and automated window shades. The Sheikh is also working on a deal to buy four more single floor units that would bring his total purchase to $250 million.

The Sheikh has been shopping New York properties for a while, but has found resistance from co-op boards reluctant to accept his large entourage that includes two wives, 15 children and a number of supporters.

He had also attempted to buy the $31.5 million dollar apartment owned by the late copper heiress Huguette Clark and Denise Rich's $60 million dollar spread before settling on the One57 property.
