A focus on natural and sustainable materials can be found at the forefront of contemporary luxury Brazilian design. Product designer Bruno Jahara has spent nearly a decade creating accessories and furniture that is not only aesthetically pleasing but represents his native, Brazilian roots. “Using natural materials like wood, wicker, straw, and clay is a large part of the Brazilian identity. We will always be recognized for our cultural traditions and Mid-Century design history but we are now wanting to diversify by adding twists on the classics to create luxurious pieces that last for generations.” Scroll through for some of the best of Brazilian design.
