The penthouse’s 360-degree views were the background for the event, providing ample and unobstructed landscapes of the Atlantic Ocean and Intracoastal Waterway.

Attendees, each fashionably attired with their respective masks, enjoyed the latest in fashion, accessories and home goods, while simultaneously getting a sneak peek inside the sky oasis home, listed at $29.5 million. They were treated to an alfresco lunch, prosecco, live music, and the ocean breeze to be enjoyed on a daily basis by the eventual buyer. Designed by Elkus Manfredi Architects, The Shops And Restaurants pay homage to the industrial past of the West Side. Inside, steel and dark wood evoke rail yards that once dominated the area and natural stone floors and exposed support structures contribute to rough-hewn, urban elegance of this vertical neighborhood. Greeting guests at the entrance is an enormous honeycomb-like structure known as Vessel. Designed by Thomas Heatherwick and Heatherwick Studio, Vessel is the centerpiece of the Hudson Yards Public Square and Gardens. The climbable staircase features 154 intricately-interconnecting flights of stairs, 2,500 individual steps, and 80 landings. Standing 150 feet in the air, Vessel offers the public a one-mile vertical climbing experience and unique views of the new neighborhood.

During the Grand Opening Weekend of Hudson Yards, numerous public performances will take place along with retailers inviting shoppers to celebrate with special events such as made-to-order C101 sneaker bar at Coach and collection launches at Cartier, Piaget and much more.

Rumor has it that Marcus was originally in talks with Frank Lloyd Wright when crafting his dream home, but he apparently didn’t like any of the architect’s designs.
