Dwayne Johnson (also known as wrestling star The Rock) and his wife, Lauren Hashian, have purchased a gorgeous estate in the Beverly Park enclave of Beverly Hills, California for $27.8 million, formerly owned by comedian Paul Reiser.

The mansion was built in 1993 and was designed and renovated by architect Grant Kirkpatrick. The sprawling property includes a 15,000-square-foot main house on a private spread with canyon views and landscaped grounds.

A long, olive tree-lined driveway leads to a motor court with a fountain. Situated on a quiet cul-de-sac, the home has no immediate neighbors’ insight and is considered the largest property in the upscale Beverly Park neighborhood.

The Mediterranean style home has six bedrooms and 13 bathrooms and includes multiple luxurious amenities such as a tennis court, a pool and spa, an indoor pool, a large gym, a baseball diamond, a music room with a recording studio, a movie theater, and an elevator.

The music room was reportedly installed by Alex Van Halen in the early 1990s.

The resort-style home also features a 2,500-square-foot guest house.

The couple originally bought their new home last fall after their engagement but have spent the past few months moving into the new address. The six-bedroom, 12-bathroom estate spans 7,167 square feet and sits on 9 acres of land and spans four parcels. Santa Barbara architects, Edwards and Plunkett, designed and built the home in 1934. It was then later renovated by Lutah Maria Riggs, the first woman to be named a Fellow of the American Institute of Architects.

Although Perry and Bloom have added a few renovations to the estate, most of its original aesthetic still remains. The Mediterranean-style home stands three stories tall, featuring a grand rotunda entryway. The main level including a living room, formal dining room, open kitchen and breakfast room, as well as an outdoor dining space.

Upstairs holds the main suite, which occupies more than half of the upper level. Some of the amenities included are the wood-burning fireplace, two bathrooms, a large custom-fitted dressing room, a separate walk-in closet, and a private patio which overlooks the rest of the property and the Pacific Ocean. The private office and conference room are located on the lower level.

The home also holds a guesthouse, a detached four-car garage, a pool house with two additional bedrooms, and a full-size tennis court.

Actress Kristen Stewart just purchased a $6 million Mediterranean Revival-style estate in Los Feliz, California.

Built in 1927, the 4,864-square-foot home holds four bedrooms, five-and-a-half bathrooms, and stands two stories tall. It includes classic, red-tiled roofing, arched doorways, lantern lighting, and combination tile and oak wood floors. The garage has been recently converted into a guest suite with the identical Mediterranean style.

Over the years, the vintage home has been well-maintained revealing delightfully landscaped private gardens. Tampa-based designers McKinlay Rose Interiors just finished a magnificent project in Downtown Tampa. This high rise condominium has had a complete renovation and redesign of the residential space. The homeowner’s personal lifestyle was echoed in the project, and it is reflected and perfectly accompanied by the spectacular city landscape and waterfront views.

Modern and glistening light fixtures, textured shimmering wallpaper, and furnishings with an antique touch were added for an elegant and eclectic décor. The homeowners have original works of art throughout the apartment. These harmonize with McKinlay Rose’s rich work on the unit.
