]]> Mark Wahlberg has had a bit of difficulty selling his Beverly Hills estate, but finally, after five long years on and off the market, he’s found the right buyer. The new sale may have something to do with its price reduction from $15.9M to $12.9M.

Wahlberg’s estate has plenty to offer, including 11,500 square feet of living space, a gorgeous in-ground pool with water slide, court for basketball and tennis, gym with boxing ring, screening room and a two-bedroom guesthouse for visitors.

The estate overlooks Benedict Canyon and offers incredible views, so it’s no wonder he eagerly purchased the property in 2001 for around $5M.

]]> Mark Wahlberg is continuing his quest to unload his 11,000-square-foot Hollywood hideaway.

Wahlberg purchased the property back in 2001 for just under $5 million and since then has enjoyed its playground-like amenities including a putting green, lagoon pool with grotto, water slide and a full service gym with a boxing ring.

In 2008, Wahlberg and his wife listed the property with an asking price of $15.9 million, but in four years there have been no takers.

The price on the seven bedroom, 10.5 bath home has dropped now to about $13 million.

Real estate insiders speculate Walhberg and his family are planning to move to the exclusive Beverly Park community; in 2009 Wahlberg spent $8.25 million on a parcel of land there. It had yet to be developed at the time, but reportedly ground has just been broken on the property.
