Emma Roberts has just purchased a 2,730 square foot home in the Hollywood Hills. British actress Minnie Driver was the previous owner of the single-story residence, which she sold to Roberts for S3.6 million.

Built in 1940, the charming bungalow is tucked away in the Hollywood Hills and bordered by beautiful foliage. The house sits on an almost half-acre and has three bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms across a single level. It is secluded off a winding road and protected by double gates.

Minnie Driver bought the home in 2014 for $2.5 million. The property includes a two-bedroom and 2.5 bath main house and a one-bedroom, one-bath guest cottage. She collaborated with top Los Angeles-based designer Peter Dunham to brighten the interiors with colorful fabrics and fun patterns. It was sold to Roberts fully furnished.

Some notable features of the house include a formal living room with a wood-burning fireplace, built-in bookshelves, and a leaded glass bay window. The family room is more casual and includes French doors that open to the backyard. An updated gourmet kitchen comes with high-end Viking appliances and a cheerful breakfast nook.

Ten years later, Timberlake married actress Jessica Biel and the duo have two children together. This has presumably led them to listing their Hollywood Hills abode on the market. The expansive compound has been offered at a whopping price of $35 million.

Timberlake and Biel’s former residence has a history of acclaimed owners. In the 1940s, Golden Age actor Errol Flynn allegedly used the space to build a compound with hidden passageways, peepholes, and two-way mirrors, according to the book “Errol Flynn Slept Here” by Robert Matzen and Michael Mazzone. Later, American actress Helen Hunt built a house on the roughly 3-acre property that she sold to Timberlake in 2002. Built in 1923, the five-bedroom, three-and-a-half-bathroom residence blends Old World charm with modern sensibilities. Tisdale ensured to keep many of the original details throughout the home such as the leaded glass windows and lighting fixtures. She has added her own charm to the residence as well.

The incorporation of unique color schemes and patterns has created a delightful atmosphere throughout the home. Tisdale has added a deep teal in the dining room, a dark green hue in the formal dining area, a denim blue within one of the bathrooms, and intricate patterned wallpaper in the front foyer.

The multi-level property holds four bedrooms and five-and-a-half bathrooms, which occupy their own floor. The penthouse suite takes up the entire top floor including a lofty office, a lounge space, and a massive bedroom with a spa-like bathroom and a private terrace that overlooks the city.

The lower levels of the home feature a living room with double-height ceilings and a black marble fireplace; a dining area that opens directly onto another covered terrace in the home; a kitchen with dark wood cabinetry and modern gray-and-white tiling. The hit-maker’s latest purchase does seem a little pricey, however. For a home similar to her’s, the average sales price is $2,523,383. She paid $2,815,000.

Charli XCX popped up on many fans’ radars last year following the success of Iggy Azalea’s “Fancy” and Icona Pop’s “I Love It”, two chart-topping singles, which she was featured on. The pop star is currently on tour in support of her latest album, SUCKER.

The Two and a Half Men actor was originally hesitant to buy the property (he rented the 9,385-square-foot estate for $50,000 per month back in 2011), but when fellow media sensation Justin Bieber began to show an interest in scooping it up for himself, Kutcher decided to take the plunge and invest $8.455 million in the Hollywood Hills house, beating the pop singer to the punch.

The resplendent three-story residence features a gym, a sauna, a wine cellar, a living room fireplace, a glass bridge and an elevator. Nestled on more than a half-an-acre lot, it overlooks the Hollywood Reservoir and comes with an infinity swimming pool and spa.

Now that girlfriend Mila Kunis is expecting, Kutcher is looking to purchase a more family-friendly home (read: one with fewer open water features and glass detailing) that the '70s Show duo can settle into before the little one arrives.

According to the LA Times, the five-bedroom, eight-bath glass abode designed by Mills Studios is unofficially on the market for $12 million.
