Brenda Quiroga has been a licensed real estate agent for more than twenty years. She has worked on new home sales, resale homes, rentals, relocations, acreage properties, and investment properties. Quiroga is an agent at Corcoran Reverie, which is based in Seagrove Beach, Florida, and is now also an agent with Corcoran Ferester Realty based north of Houston, Texas. This makes her Corcoran Reverie’s first dual-affiliated agent, representing the brand in both Florida and Texas.

Corcoran Reverie, an affiliate of Corcoran Group LLC, is a high-end real estate brokerage specializing in the luxury home market located in Northwest Florida. From Destin to Panama City Beach, Corcoran Reverie’s agent team represents neighborhoods across the Emerald Coast. Quiroga, also known as “Brenda Q” and the “Florida agent,” is experienced in the Texas market as well as the Florida market.

Corcoran Ferester Realty is Corcoran Group LLC’s first affiliate in Texas as of December 2021. Contributing to the firm’s growth, Quiroga is a consistently top-producing agent in the Houston market. As featured in Texas Monthly Magazine, she ranks in the top 2% of Greater Houston Area Real Estate Professionals for Overall Client Satisfaction.

Quiroga comments on this new chapter of her career by saying, “It is such an awesome opportunity and a beautiful thing to be able to represent the Corcoran brand in both Florida and Texas. Being in both of these markets will help me with an even stronger pipeline of business since Texas has such a large population of second-home owners here in Florida. I’m now positioned very well to educate clients on both the Corcoran brand and the different markets I now serve, and I’m excited to be able to contribute to our collective growth in this way.”

Quiroga loves helping her Texas clients “trade in their boots for the beach” by finding the perfect second home or an investment property in Northwest Florida.

Linly Designs believes that no room is complete without custom window treatments. “It’s the icing on the cake,” says Janet Linly, President & CEO of Linly Designs, “and something that we execute extremely well and with passion. From conception to installation, our team guides each of our clients through every step of the process so that the end result is truly fabulous with meticulous attention to detail.” Evidence of which can be found in this 10,000 sq. ft. home nestled in the Chicago suburb of Hinsdale, IL.

Highlighting architectural details is something that Forbes-recognized Linly Designs achieves with their custom window treatments that are tailored to enhance the home's beauty. “From the shape of a cornice to the height a valance is mounted, every decision our design team makes is deliberate in an effort to accentuate the home’s style,” says Linly.

One example of this occurs in the estates’ master bedroom Sitting area. A tulip-style Roman shade was selected to complement the curvature of the Italian marble fireplace, and the pattern of the fabric coordinates with the carvings within the façade.

Although recently renovated by Linly Designs, many of the home’s architectural elements, such as the living room’s stone fireplace & built-in cabinetry, are original (the design team did add a decorative finish to both of these features). However, Linly installed the hand-distressed ceiling beams to add drama and draw attention to the generous 11’ ceiling. With these stately beams in place, the team designed stationary velvet window treatment panels with hand-stitched Italian embroidered tape to the leading edge of the panels. This extraordinary detail continues the linear feel of the hand-carved wood beams and emphasizes the dramatic height of the ceiling.

The large chef-inspired custom kitchen was designed with wood carved panels, acanthus-leaf crown molding, and medallion details in keeping with the French Provencial feel of the home. Because of the level of intricacies found in the kitchen, the window’s valance was designed to complement the details found throughout the space without detracting from the beauty.

Next to the kitchen, the dinette’s bay window is architecturally a bit simpler, so floor-to-ceiling stationary panels with French pinch pleats and a coordinating fabric detail were created for lush, visual interest.

Selecting appropriately-proportioned patterns to use for window treatments also adds balance to the home’s architecture. The fabric for the master bathroom valance was selected in neutral tones not only because it coordinates with the style of the master bedroom, but this fabric compliments all of the details found throughout the entire master suite. A classic shutter-style window covering was installed for privacy and added another layer to the architecture from the interior as well as the exterior.

Recognized as a leader in the interior design industry, Linly Designs has become known for creating classic, timeless interiors with cohesiveness and elegance. Their high standard and uncompromised services & products are what sets them apart from other firms. Serving clientele from the East coast to the West coast, Linly Designs has become a luxury brand name for high end interiors. “Everything we do is with purpose,” says Linly, “and no detail is left incomplete and overlooked.”

A focus on natural and sustainable materials can be found at the forefront of contemporary luxury Brazilian design. Product designer Bruno Jahara has spent nearly a decade creating accessories and furniture that is not only aesthetically pleasing but represents his native, Brazilian roots. “Using natural materials like wood, wicker, straw, and clay is a large part of the Brazilian identity. We will always be recognized for our cultural traditions and Mid-Century design history but we are now wanting to diversify by adding twists on the classics to create luxurious pieces that last for generations.” Scroll through for some of the best of Brazilian design.
