The sale is just the latest in Weinstein’s streak of offloading properties. First was his Upper West Side townhouse, which fetched $15 million; then his Greenwich, Connecticut mansion for $17 million.

Weinstein listed the Manhattan duplex last September for $29.5 million but shed $3 million in January, before further deflating the price for buyer Pamela Schein Murphy, founder of the Select 7 lifestyle website.

The residence encompasses 14 rooms on the 16th and 17th floors of the Beresford building in Upper West Side. The 7,000-square-foot home boasts vistas of Central Park that unfold in five bedrooms, six-and-a-half bathrooms as well as a staff room.

While the listing images of Weinstein’s home show bare interiors, the listing agency, Corcoran, emphasized the home’s innate features such as original herringbone floors, woodburning fireplaces, two terraces and a curved staircase.

Weinstein’s urge to sell comes after The Weinstein Co. declared bankruptcy in March and his brother faces sexual misconduct charges.
