At the young age of 24, pop culture icon and makeup mogul Kylie Jenner has already acquired an impressive real estate portfolio. The media personality owns various properties across Los Angeles and Hidden Hills, including a five-acre lot purchased in April of 2020 for $15 million and a $36.5 million palatial showplace in Holmby Hills. Meanwhile, her partner, Travis Scott is primarily based in Brentwood where he spent $29.3 million on two properties this past year. Additionally, the couple owns a $13.5 million home in the mountains above Beverly Hills.

In terms of New York residences, Jenner and Scott reportedly rent a townhome in Greenwich Village. Built in 1839, the building has served as home to plenty of occupants over the past nearly two hundred years including "The March King" John Phillips Sousa. For the past ten years, the property has been listed on and off the market with several brokers at a plethora of differing prices as high as $31.95 million. Now, the six-story building is once again available for purchase through “Million Dollar Listing” star Ryan Serhant at a price of $26.5 million.

The Baldwins now own three units in the building that gets its name from the Duke of Devonshire's estate, the Piccadilly mansion in London.

Baldwin purchased the penthouse on the 12th floor for $11.71 million in 2012. Hilaria, Baldwin's wife, then bought an adjacent apartment on the 12th floor for $1.2 million. This acquisition added an additional 840-square feet of living space to the couple's 12th-floor footprint.

Last year, Baldwin purchased yet another 12th-floor unit (12-G) in an off-market deal for $1.31 million.

Walls were knocked down, to combine the alcove-style one-bedroom into the rest of Baldwin's expansive 12th-floor compound.

Baldwin bought the house in 1995 and had a complete renovation performed when his wife Hilaria moved in.

The 1753 salt-box shingle home has wood-paneling and winged-backed chairs in the media room. The open kitchen leads to a large dining and living area where the family enjoys many meals together on the wooden dining table from Fishers at Sag Harbor.

While Baldwin has spent more time here in recent years, it is Hilaria who has an office in the house. Her portrait also hangs above the fireplace in the formal living room. The painting was completed by contemporary artist Brendan O'Connell.

The couple's third child, Leonardo, has his own room, which is being renovated to be the same size as his two older siblings'. "We want all of our kids to feel like they're equal," Hilaria explained to Elle Decor.

A light-filled room with lovely french doors located just off the living room has been dubbed "the wine banquet" by  Baldwin and is the perfect place for the Baldwins to entertain family, friends, and famous guests.

With a net worth of over $65 million, Baldwin is enjoying a storied career that includes radio, stage, television, and movie success.

Last year, Baldwin published his memoir "Nevertheless" that tracks his roots from growing up the oldest of four boys in the Nassau Shores neighborhood of nearby Massapequa, New York, to ascending the heights of Hollywood fame and fortune.

There have been many bumps along the way, but there is no denying that Baldwin is a fixture of versatility in a career marked by many iconic characters, including Jack Donaghy on 30 Rock, his record-setting 17 host appearances on Saturday Night Live, and tough-talking chief of police, Ellerby, in Martin Scorsese's 2006 crime drama, The Departed.

After a hiatus from the spotlight (compared to the Kardashians), the native New Yorker snagged a $4.9 million Greenwich Village penthouse pad at 738 Broadway for herself and her oft mentioned roommates—seven dogs, including a $13,000 Pomeranian pooch, amazingly named “Prince Hilton the Pom” (self-awareness is apparently very important for a famous dog’s self-esteem).

Socialite Paris Hilton recently paid approximately $4.9 million for this two-bedroom duplex penthouse with automatic fireplace and nearly 12-foot ceilings.

738 Broadway is located in NoHo, a vibrant section of Greenwich Village.

Not that we imagined abstract paint drips and splashes poured all over the walls and floors of 46 Carmine Street, Unit 4 (after all, Pollock reportedly lived here as far back as 1932).

Among his research on the property, Ortiz learned Pollock’s lucky number was 46—a figure that was used in some of his paintings, and a theme that may relate to the Carmine Street address or psychology.

Built in 1827, the 800-square-foot penthouse apartment between Bedford and Bleecker streets is small on space but big on appeal—with its original wide plank floors, original bricks on inside walls (painted white), exposed beams, 14-foot-tall Tudor-style ceilings, and skylights that cast enough natural sunlight to illuminate the darker side associated with its purported former famous occupants (including Aaron Burr, Thomas Jefferson’s rejected vice president, who mortally wounded U.S. founding father Alexander Hamilton in a duel). According to Ortiz, Burr once owned the townhouse, the land or a prior home here. The quaint building in historic West Village, with its shared garden, basks in the shadow of rare bookstores, record stores, restaurants, and Our Lady of Pompeii Church.

We do know Pollock’s meteoric success exacerbated his alcoholism which tragically ended his life via an under-the-influence car accident. But while his enamel paints have dried into history, his legacy and influence live on.

“We had an open house of about 50 people and 90% of them asked about Jackson Pollock,” said Ortiz. “We have more than six offers. I don’t know if the Jackson Pollock connection had anything to do with the offers, but it was a bidding frenzy.”

46 Carmine Street, Unit 4 is a character witness to history that’s difficult to unravel in 2014. Speculatively, this is likely where a painter changed our perception of art and where a former VP may have plotted to exorcize his demons. Aside from that, the apartment is a cool loft with a fascinating backstory.

Speculation says the USA's third Vice President Aaron Burr owned the townhouse, land or a prior home where 46 Carmine Street is today.

For those bidders looking for a deal, Pollock’s former apartment may be a good investment—considering his paintings (like “No. 5, 1948”) sell for up to $140 million. And who knows what lurks beneath those original floorboards—paintings or ghosts? We may never know.

In any case, if the buyer expects a Pollock painting in the deal, good luck.

When Berkus relocated to New York from Chicago in 2011 to film his new program The Nate Berkus Show, he rented a modern loft overlooking the Hudson River. “I always had this New York fantasy of living in a glass high-rise,” he told Architectural Digest. “While I respect contemporary architecture a great deal, I was uncomfortable from the moment I moved in; I felt like I was living on a shelf.”

Berkus thought he would be happier in a brick-and-mortar, and purchased a 19th-century Greenwich Village building. The property was not in good condition when Berkus first arrived, but leave it to him, a highly sought-after interior decorator, to reveal the diamond in the rough. Berkus completely revamped the three-bedroom duplex in collaboration with architectural designer Carlos Huber.

The duo gave the apartment a complete makeover, stripping the floors to apply white-oak boards, defining the space with glass and metal double doors and interior partitions and even the addition of a skylight. The result? A chic, seamless apartment which would surely have got the crowd at Oprah squealing!
