In 2018, popstar Kelly Clarkson and her now divorced husband, Brandon Blackstock, purchased their then brand-new home in Encino, California. The humble abode was bought at a price of $8.5 million and has undergone several renovations over the years. However, with Clarkson and Blackstock’s split, their real estate portfolio is experiencing some changes.

Last year, Clarkson quietly unloaded her rural Nashville retreat for $3 million. Then, earlier this year, she sold her lakefront mansion in Hendersonville, Tennessee for $6.3 million as well as purchased a vintage Toluca Lake estate for $5.4 million. Now, she is officially bidding farewell to her Encino residence after nearly a year of listing, taking down, and relisting on the market. The initial asking price was offered at just under $10 million but the sale was ultimately secured at $8.24 million.

Clarkson’s Encino home rests behind the gates of the prestigious Royal Oaks neighborhood. The property spans half an acre with 10,108 square feet and, between the main residence and the two-story guesthouse, presents a total of eight ensuite bedrooms and eight baths. Stepping inside, the home highlights formal living and dining rooms which are complimented by casual family spaces. The interior boasts an expansive great room with gourmet kitchen, billiards nook, and state-of-the art screening room. The spacious primary bedroom features a fireplace, separate seating area, private patio, and extravagant walk-in closet. Additionally, the space offers two powder rooms each with their own unique tile.

The taupe-stucco house evokes a “country” aesthetic with rustic yet luxe doorways and antique brick flooring. Teal velvet drapes offer a vibrant touch to the sweeping windows and disappear into the walls for a seamless transition outdoors. Stepping outside, the exterior space presents high hedges and dense foliage for privacy. The swimming pool is surrounded by a nearly invisible frameless-glass safety fence. Taylor Swift is not only an 11-time Grammy winning singer-songwriter and iconic popstar but also a surprising real estate investor. The acclaimed American artist has spent $50 million on a single cobblestoned street in the Tribeca neighborhood of Lower Manhattan, New York. Beside her $18 million townhome at 153 Franklin St., she also owns three units at 155 Franklin St. totaling near $30 million. In 2014, Swift purchased an $19.95 million penthouse duplex at 155 Franklin St. from “Lord of the Rings” director Peter Jackson. Later on, she purchased another $9.75 million unit in the same building.

Other notable residents of the charming brick building include Orlando Bloom, comedian Aziz Ansari, former New York Rangers captain Ryan McDonagh, and Steven Soderbergh. Now another unit, on the fourth floor of 155 Franklin, has sold for $9.99 million. While the space was intended to serve as a rental, the buyer reportedly fell in love with the unit and purchased it on the spot crowning them the title of Taylor’s swift’s new neighbor.

The classic 19th-century building formerly served as the Sugarloaf Warehouse before its conversion into a 6.5 story residential space. Spanning 3,532 square feet, the newly purchased Tribeca unit features four bedrooms and three baths. The marvelous great room highlights corner exposure, a woodburning fireplace, and oversized windows for plentiful natural lighting. The open chef’s kitchen is equipped with a quaint breakfast bar. The luxurious primary bathroom encapsulates a spa like atmosphere and offers a dressing room and private seating area. Decorative elements of the home consists of classic loft features such as cast-iron columns, exposed brick, and wood-beamed ceilings.

Ariana Grande sent her 238 million instagram followers into a frenzy this week when she shared images from her in-home wedding to real estate agent Dalton Gomez.

The young couple tied the knot at the two-time Grammy-Award-winner's Tudor-style home ion Montecito, California.

According to exclusive image released by Vogue, the two-time Grammy-Award-winning artist's lovely home is the very same she purchased from Ellen DeGeneres last summer.

A quick look at Grande's posts reveals how perfectly the Tudor-style details and architecture compliment an intimate wedding backdrop. Between the exposed wooden beams and the white walls with brick fireplace, the imagery screams of Tudor influence.

According to a Vogue report, the couple decided early on in their engagement that the wedding would be held at home. This week's ceremony was reportedly attended by no more than 20 guests.

With 11 Grammys to his name and his latest album "DAMN" being named this year's Pulitzer Prize for music–a first for a record that isn't classical or jazz–the MC who sometimes refers to himself as "Kung-Fu Kenny" has mastered the songwriter's craft.

An artist can't achieve legend status in the music industry without being business savvy. Lamar also appears to be a smart real estate investor with a long-term strategy. "I really like to buy property...rather than buying things for the moment. Something that can last me a lifetime," Lamar said in a radio interview for San Francisco's Wild 94.9.

He reportedly still lives in a modest L.A. condo–to stay humble while purchasing other apartments, buildings, and houses throughout California to build his real estate portfolio.

For his lastest money-move, Lamar has purchased a 5,400-square-foot home in Calabasas for $2.65 million.

Calabasas (and nearby Hidden Hills) has become a music maker's mecca over the last few years. Music producer Rick Rubin keeps a studio there. Dr. Dre just bought a custom estate in Calabasas for $4.9 million. A recent episode of FX's Atlanta was inspired by Drake's party-ready Hidden Hills mansion. And Kanye West just announced he was moving the headquarters of his Yeezy sneaker line to the Calabasas Hills.

However, Lamar won't be eating at local hangout Banzai Sushi on the regular, he has no plans to live in his six-bedroom, six-bath home. The investment property features an ample backyard with swimming pool, hot tub, built-in grill and covered patio.

The home's spacious interior exhibits a comfortable theater room, an in-home gym, huge walk-in closets, and a master suite with a cozy double-sided fireplace.

The home was originally listed for $2.89 million, but Lamar negotiated and obtained the mansion below asking price. It's an inspiring story for the Compton-born 30-year-old, who has rapped about being a homeless as a boy, living out of motels.

"I got hustle though, ambition, flow, inside my DNA," Lamar raps on his breakout hit single off the last album.

Looks like this talented rapper-turned-real-estate-mogul has been putting his money where his mouth is.
