Emma Roberts has just purchased a 2,730 square foot home in the Hollywood Hills. British actress Minnie Driver was the previous owner of the single-story residence, which she sold to Roberts for S3.6 million.

Built in 1940, the charming bungalow is tucked away in the Hollywood Hills and bordered by beautiful foliage. The house sits on an almost half-acre and has three bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms across a single level. It is secluded off a winding road and protected by double gates.

Minnie Driver bought the home in 2014 for $2.5 million. The property includes a two-bedroom and 2.5 bath main house and a one-bedroom, one-bath guest cottage. She collaborated with top Los Angeles-based designer Peter Dunham to brighten the interiors with colorful fabrics and fun patterns. It was sold to Roberts fully furnished.

Some notable features of the house include a formal living room with a wood-burning fireplace, built-in bookshelves, and a leaded glass bay window. The family room is more casual and includes French doors that open to the backyard. An updated gourmet kitchen comes with high-end Viking appliances and a cheerful breakfast nook.

The master suite also features built-in bookshelves and French doors as well as a large dressing room and spacious bathroom. A shower room, bathtub, and Venetian mirror are included in the master bath. Outside and near the front of the house sits a wooden gazebo. The lagoon-style pool and spa are located in the back.

Gerber co-founded the tequila brand Casamigos with acclaimed actor George Clooney in 2013. However, the two are now bidding farewell to their humble abode listing it on the market for an initial price $15.995 million last August. Since then, the price has been reduced to $14.75 million in May before recently securing a buyer. While the transaction has yet to appear in public records and the buyer’s identity remains anonymous, the home was last listed at $13.5 million.

Additionally, the celebrity couple have secured several other properties with two homes in Malibu, a vacation home in La Quinta’s Madison Club, and a cottage in Canada. Aside from Crawford and Gerber though, other notable names in the entertainment industry have inhabited their Beverly Hills abode. OneRepublic frontman Ryan Tedder and his wife, Genevieve, purchased the house in 2014 and spent almost two years restoring and expanding the property. Prior to their residence, the space belonged to film producer Gregory Goodman of “Jason Bourne” and “Captain Phillips.”

In 2019, Crawford spoke to Architectural Digest about her Beverly Hills home. “It's midcentury modern, so it's been fun putting it through our own filter. We make a lot of our upholstery,” she explains. “My husband is very, very picky about the cushion density and seat depth because he's taller.” However, Crawford also claims that Gerber “would sacrifice functionality for the look” in certain aspects of their home while her utmost priority lies in comfortability.

Built in 1959, the chic mid-century modern home spans 5,386 square feet and includes five bedrooms and 5.5 baths. In 1891, the historic East Hampton estate was built by acclaimed Grey Gardens architect Joseph Greenleaf Thorpe for the homeowner’s wife, Laura Brevoort Sedgwick. Following a near century and list of elite owners, Calvin Klein purchased the property from the son of Juan Trippe, the founder of Pan American World Airways. The real estate sale took place in 1987 with Klein’s second wife, Kelly Rector, where the formerly married couple spent $3.6 million to acquire the impressive property.

Following the first few years after purchase, the duo executed substantial renovations to the home and eventually had it featured in the 1992 edition of Vogue Decorations. While the celebrity couple officially divorced in 2006 and were reportedly separated for a decade prior, Rector continued to reside within the Hamptons home. Despite her stay nearly fifteen years following their split and her former initials “K. K.” plastered on the front gate, the deed was still in Klein’s name. This past week, the estate was sold in two off-market transactions to undisclosed buyers hidden behind an LLC. The sale consisted of the main property which sold for $75 million as well as the adjacent strip of undeveloped land for an additional $10 million.

The lavish Hamptons estate built in 1891 is situated on 8.4 acres of lush land and features a main mansion as well as a boathouse. Shortly after Klein and Rector purchased the residence over three decades ago, they summoned the help of renowned architect Thierry Despont to modernize the interior space. Spanning over 10,100 square feet, the primary house is a shingle-style mansion including five bedrooms and eight bathrooms. While information in regards to the home’s interior design is limited, Klein and Rector are infamously infatuated with sleek white interiors and perfectly executed construction projects. Now, Travolta is bidding farewell to his former Florida home for $4 million. The property was initially listed in March for $4.65 million but nonetheless, the 67-year-old actor is walking away with a profit. This sale comes about a year following the passing of his late wife Kelly Preston in their home due to breast cancer. In January 2020, Travolta sold his $18 million Spanish-style mansion in Los Angeles and earlier this year, parted ways with his longtime waterfront residence in Maine for $5 million. He currently owns a $2.65 million Calabasas home which he purchased with Preston in 2019.

Travolta’s former Florida home spans more than an acre of picturesque land and includes five bedrooms and 5.5 bathrooms. In the 1960s, the property served as a modeling and airline stewardess school for women. The estate was later added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1979 to protect it from future demolishing as one of the few remaining privately owned mansions of the Gilded Age. The residence currently belongs to Denise Bettencourt, an architect and specialist in preservation and restoration of Gilded Age mansions. On July 12, the historic property is set to be auctioned with a substantial price cut. Initially asking $20 million, the property is now asking for an immensely reduced starting bid of $7 million.

Located in Glen Cove, Winfield Hall spans 32,000 square feet and sits on 16 acres of scenic landscape. Designed by renowned American architect C.P.H. Gilbert, the luxurious estate was built for entrepreneur Frank Winfield Woolworth between 1915 and 1916. At the time of construction, the home was considered the largest in the United States. The lush mansion includes 56 rooms, 10 bedrooms, and a 15,000 square foot clock tower with space to store 11 cars. Entering the residence, the space opens up to a white marble butterfly staircase as pictured in the opening scenes of the “Blank Space” video. The grand staircase was reportedly built as the focal point of the home and its construction is estimated to cost $2 million. Further into the estate presents the formal dining room also as shown in Swift’s music video. However, the opulent furnishings adorning the estate, including a Versace dining set, will be auctioned separately. Other luxury amenities include an entertainment area, chess room, ballroom, grand foyer, sunroom, and 16 fireplaces throughout the property.

The “just completed,” redone contemporary space was formerly the home of fellow musician Barry Manilow. The beach house was presented to Pink and Hart in April for $13.5 million, but the duo were prepared to offer $200,000 above the asking price to secure the picturesque property.

In February of this year, the tennis pro listed his opulent home on the market for $6,199,000. Several months later, Djokovic’s Universe Collins Investment LLC sold the property at a slightly reduced final price of $6 million. The buyer has not been revealed.

The striking orange vase includes a knob-textured surface and aims to emphasize Rogen’s presence and character. According to the auction website, Rogen plays with color, texture, and glazing, and intends to bring humor and vitality to his art, both on the screen and off.

This sale thrust skilled ceramicist, Rogen, into the art market headfirst but we are sure that this will not be the last we hear of his ceramics. Rogen’s vase was originally prophesied to sell for $3,000, yet expectations were exceeded. The piece was displayed at the downtown Vancouver gallery and will continue to make strides for Vancouver’s art gallery scene.

When the steep asking price failed to attract prospective buyers, the cost was reduced by 23% to $27 million in July of 2020. At the time, this was reported to be the priciest condo listed in Los Angeles. In November, the price was furthermore reduced to $23 million and was eventually removed from the market at the end of the year. It was relisted in April at $23 million before finally selling at $21.6 million this week. Although the final closing price is 38% less than Perry’s initial listing price, it is still the most expensive recorded condo sale in the city since 2015.

Musk has since sold most of his properties including Gene Wilder’s former Los Angeles home for $7 million. However, the final remaining residence awaiting purchase is his “special place” in San Francisco.

In 2017, the business magnate purchased a lavish San Francisco home for $23.4 million, reportedly designating the property for events. In May of 2020, after publicly announcing the sale of his real estate portfolio, Musk listed the property for $35 million. A deal had not yet been closed in the months following leading him to eventually remove the listing in November. Yesterday, Musk once more listed the home at heightened price of $37.5 million. Reportedly, Musk currently resides in a Boca Chica, Texas property rented from his aerospace company SpaceX for less than $50 thousand.

Located south of San Francisco, Musk’s former “special place” is a historic 100-year-old mansion in Hillsborough. Spanning 16,000 square feet and 47 acres of land, the extravagant property includes 10 bedrooms and 9.5 bathrooms. This has led the Levy’s to list their former Manhattan abode on the market for $15 million.

As the largest and last penthouse to sell at 40 Bleecker in New York City’s NoHo neighborhood, this condominium is the highest priced property in the newly constructed building. The penthouse consists of the top two floors of the 1900s commercial building, which was converted into loft-style condominiums in 2004. The ultramodern interiors were designed by Ryan Korban although the Levy’s did undergo some minor renovations during their short stay such as painting over some wallpapers. The 35-year-old designer partnered with e-commerce market place, 1st Dibs to offer an eclectic and impressive debut furniture collection. According to a report from L'Officiel, Siriano's collection includes sculptural stools, coffee tables, settees and everything in between.

Siriano first burst onto the scene when he became the youngest champion of Project Runway in 2007. Since then, he has gone onto design looks for Michelle Obama, Lady Gaga, Amy Adams, Angelina Jolie and more. He nearly broke the internet along with Billy Porter after the actor debuted an exclusive Siriano-designed look to the 2019 Oscars.

Born in Kansas, the designer and TV star Joanna Gaines balances her life between being a wife, a mother, and a businesswoman. Gaines is not only a star in the hit television show Fixer Upper but also the co-owner and co-founder of the design and real estate company Magnolia. 

Her interest in design emerged after she graduated from Baylor University with a degree in communications. She worked as an intern in New York and fell in love with the profession. Magnolia, Gaines’ personal project, was founded in 2003 when she also opened her own shop, Magnolia Market. In addition to her own company, the television show Fixer Upper transformed her into a design celebrity.
