In 2015, NBA legend LeBron James purchased a residence in Brentwood, California for $20,986,500. The real estate transaction was executed in an off-market deal while James was still with the Cleveland Cavaliers. Scott Samuel "Scooter" Braun has become a prevalent name in contemporary pop music as he is credited for discovering Justin Bieber and currently serves the manager of several successful artists such as Ariana Grande, Demi Lovato, Carly Rae Jepsen, David Guetta, Hilary Duff, and the Black Eyed Peas. Most notably though, the powerful industry figure has gained much attention for his public discourse with musical superstar Taylor Swift. The publicized conflict centered upon the ownership of Swift records, which he ultimately sold the masters for in November of 2020 at $300 million. Since then, Swift has been prompted to record and produce “Taylor’s version” as rereleases of her older discography. Aside from musical drama, Braun was also recently sued by a former Goldman Sachs partner over a defunct venture.

Further than controversy on the industry side, Braun has also filed for divorce last year from businesswoman Yael Cohen. Braun and Cohen were married for seven years and have three children together. However, Braun has made news once again with the purchase of a $65 million mega mansion in Brentwood, California. In 2016, the former structure on the property was demolished and in 2021, a new residence was completed. It was listed on the market for $70 million on June 19 and on August 31, the deal was officially closed.

NBA star LeBron James has put his gated Brentwood estate on the market and it’s going for $20.5 million.

Purchased in 2015 for $20.9 million and spanning over 9,400 square feet, the massive traditional-style home has six-bedrooms, eight bathrooms, and a long list of amenities. The interior includes two family rooms, a sprawling master suite with a sitting room, a terrace, an en-suite bathroom, and two closets.

The home also has a formal living and dining room, a kitchen with a breakfast nook, as well as a family room that contains a loggia with heaters. Described on the listing as a resort-like ground with every imaginable space, other amenities include a paneled library, a gym, an elevator, a media room, a lap pool and spa, four fireplaces, a three-car garage, and a pool-side cabana.

The James family has not been using this estate as their primary home. By the time you get tired of Winter, you have a beautiful Spring.
