Semel estate features a nautical theme evidenced by porthole window.

Terry Semel, the former co-CEO of Warner Bros. and former CEO of Yahoo! has placed his Malibu, CA beachfront compound on the market.

The property lists at a whopping $50 million.

A main home, a screening room and a guest house adorn the .73 acre property settled on Billionaire's Beach, one of the most exclusive areas of California real estate.

Combined, the three structures comprise more than 10,000 square feet with nine bedrooms and 13 baths. The interior features a nautical theme with porthole windows in the entrance rotunda and is accented by blond hardwood floors throughout.

The main living area runs the length of the home and includes a fireplace and French doors along one side that open up to a spectacular ocean view.

Outside, the yard features a pool with an inset jacuzzi and the entire property is elevated above beach level by a seawall. Out front, there's a motor court for nine cars and an additional two car garage.

Gates and a concrete wall surrounding the property supply the privacy.

Properties along this stretch of California coastline have a track record of fetching high price tags. The property next door to Semel's estate sold in 2010 for $36 million.
