Destined to be the next crown jewel of New York, Rose Hill is the brand new full-service, 45-story luxury condominium tower currently under construction at 30 East 29th Street in Manhattan’s coveted NoMad neighborhood. Developed by the legendary Rockefeller Group, which was formed more than 90 years ago to develop and build Rockefeller Center, Rose Hill is the firm's first residential tower in its hometown and pays tribute to their greatest creation through its Art Deco-inspired design. Rose Hill's vast selection of amenities embrace the hotel-meets-home mindset with a communal atmosphere encouraging a social and active lifestyle and offers the perfect space for holiday entertaining within the 37th floor's luxurious private residents’ club. Featuring a private dining room with an expansive dining table, lounge, and bar, residents can welcome their friends and family here and take in the panoramic views of New York's famous skyline.

It's officially summer in the city and while you may be making plans for summer camp or daycare, these luxury developments are introducing kids amenities to show love for their little residents, just as much as they do for their older residents. Here are six residential developments that are kid-friendly.

5 River Park

Courtesy Williams New York

5 River Park, the first new building in the River Park mega-project on the rise in Cobble Hill, which has over 20,000 square feet of amenities, meaning residents of the 25 apartments won’t have to worry about overcrowding. The three-floor amenities space features a private playground for kids, while parents can relax at the adjacent outdoor living room. Afterward, the family can cool off at the in-ground pool, or if it’s rainy, play inside at the jungle-themed kid’s room.

11 Hoyt

They say the best way to someone’s heart is through their stomach, but is it the best way to get them to buy a condo?

Developers seem to think so. Here is how five different new luxury properties are partnering with world-class culinary brands as a way to lure prospective buyers.

Waterline Square + Cipriani

Photo credit: Noe & Associates with The Boundary

This trio of towers located on a five-acre Upper West Side plot offers a bananas list of amenities: expansive common spaces, an art studio, landscaped sundecks, a billiards lounge and bar, and large dining rooms for up to 20 people. But the most impressive perk will be a 28,000 square-foot food market by international restaurant and club proveyor Cipriani S.A. The market will feature multiple food and beverage establishments, including a market, restaurants, and fast casual outlets. Martin Brudnizki, the internationally-acclaimed, London-based interior designer, will design the new Cipriani food hall. Waterline Square is set to open in late 2018.

Operated by Four Season’s Hotel & Resorts, this dual hotel and private residence in Boston’s Back Bay has partnered with popular restaurant group Zuma to offer world-class cuisine to residents, guests and locals alike. Created and co-founded by chef Rainer Becker, Zuma takes its inspiration from the informal and popular Japanese izakaya, a relaxed dining and drinking style that embraces every element of Japanese cooking. Located on the third floor of One Dalton, the restaurant promises to offer “a modern Japanese dining experience that is authentic, but not traditional.” One Dalton is set to open in early 2019. The 742-foot tower will be the tallest structure in New England.

The end of vacation is always so hard. You want to savor the last few pampered, stress-free moments but you feel the pressures of the daily grind creeping back. What if going home didn’t mean the end of the hotel stay? What if the building you lived in had all the amenities of a hotel and so the transition between vacation and home life was hard to discern? Well, that is a viable option in many high-end residential buildings in New York City. Luxury developers are building spas, pools, treatment rooms and designing other services into their buildings to make your home a five star luxury resort. Don’t put away your “Life is Good” t-shirt after vacation, move to one of these buildings and keep living the dream.

Jardim, the Portuguese word for garden, is a fitting name for the first New York building by Isay Weinfeld, the world-renowned Brazilian architect and interior designer. With a canopy of native evergreens and flowering trees, an ultra-private urban park envelops the two 11-story towers that comprise this West Chelsea development. Weinfeld has designed spas and pools for some of the most elegant contemporary resorts in the world, including the Fasano Las Piedras in Punta del Este, Uruguay. He brings that same attention to sensory experience to the amenities at Jardim, where a serene pool surrounded by cool terrazzo floors and warm reclaimed old-growth pine walls opens up to the courtyard gardens with staggered skylights, suffusing the space with sunlight. Additional amenities include a fitness center, massage rooms and a block-long tunnel that acts as a private driveway.

Superstar hospitality designer, Alexandra Champalimaud (Beverly Hills Hotel, Raffles Singapore, The Palace Hotel, Four Seasons Jakarta) is at the helm for the interiors of The Kent, a 30-story art deco development located in Manhattan’s Upper East Side. In addition to a wide variety of cool amenities, including a pool and sauna, teen room, and sound lounge, The Kent offers a Garden Salon, akin to a hotel’s executive club level lounge, and the Drawing Room, where residents can entertain guests. These spaces were crafted for residents to imbibe, relax and play all while overlooking a beautifully landscaped zen-like courtyard garden by West 8 landscape architects.

The Kent also offers stroller valet service. Residents can have their stored stroller wheeled out prior to their departure and subsequently can leave their strollers with concierge upon their return for both convenience as well as not take up any residential storage space.
