Guimar Urbina recently participated in the show "Designer at home" on Discovery and Hogar HGTV channels, where he advised different families on the remodeling of a problematic environment.

In 2019, she was invited to be part of the 3rd edition of CASACOR Miami the most complete architecture, interior and landscaping design exhibition in North America, during Art Basel at Miami’s Brickell City Centre. While there, she had the opportunity to launched her first Wallpaper and Fabric Collection distributed by The Wallpaper Company.

Her most recent international work took place in Brussels, Belgium, where she was chosen as one of the top 10 international designers of the year. With 30,000 visitors from around the world each year, this show is intended to contribute to the innovative alliance of design with fine art at the highest level.

In 2017, she was invited as a star designer to collaborate at the Home Design & Remodeling Show in Miami, FL with a celebrity-dedicated vignette. In addition, her projects were featured in HGTV.

Guimar is originally from Venezuela and has been living in Miami for 22 years. She graduated at the Miami Art Institute, where she earned a Bachelors of Arts in Interior Design. In addition, she attended the International Fine Arts College and obtained an Associate of Arts in Fashion Merchandising.

Jasmin is an artist and can work in many different styles. Dorothy emphasizes communication as one of her primary tools, treating architects, developers, and even homeowners less as clients and more as collaborators. Her working style, sometimes described as direct and even blunt, makes efficient working relationships easier and more accessible. Dorothy is able to work quickly while also integrating imagination and vision into all of her designs, working on an impressive volume of new construction and spec homes every year.

An entrepreneur from a young age, Dorothy never served as an intern. Instead, she honed all of her technical and creative skills on her own. Dorothy grew up in Israel, where there were artists all around her. Her family, many of them working creatives, nudged her toward a rich understanding of beauty and aesthetics. 

In her early adult years, working in hospitality, Dorothy grew to adore the look and feel of many boutique hotels she visited. She noticed the feeling of relaxation that existed within those hotels and decided to bring that feeling into to her own designs. In a sense, the homes Dorothy designs are like vacation homes, even though residents occupy them year-round. These homes are warm, inviting, and welcoming, in a way that is seldom seen elsewhere. That is the standard to which Dorothy has held herself: focusing on the effect to which her designs have on people's emotions.
