The entire residence was designed by Frank Lloyd Wright’s protégé, Robert Green, one of Atlanta’s experts of modern architecture. Guests of the Midsummer Modern event were treated to what seemed like a gorgeous art gallery as they sipped rosé and viewed masterpieces from acclaimed artists like Harry Bertoia, George Nelson, Hugh Acton, Eero Saarinen, Herman Miller, Russel Wright, Pablo Picasso, Joan Miro, Ian Tyson, Salvador Dali, Paul Taylor, Tapio Wirkkala, Hendrik Van Keppel and Taylor Green. Visitors also listened to music by DJ Xzact.

Frank Lloyd Wright’s great-granddaughter, designer Melissa Galt, was the special guests at this year’s event. Galt is a designer with Burns Century, an independent design consultant based in Atlanta. The event was hosted by Debra Johnston, Luxury Real Estate Specialist with Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Luxury Collection.

“The home is a mid-century masterpiece brought back to life and style by designer Burns Century in a thoughtful and thorough renovation. The real estate team invited their Instagram giveaway winners to the special gathering. The winners indulged in a private catered dinner from Dennis Dean. They helped themselves to Hoisin Glazed Salmon Filet and Local Georgia Peach Caprese Salad. For dessert, they enjoyed a Fig and Almond Tart.
